Blog-tember, Day 3: Summer Favorites

So far in the 2016 Blog-tember Challenge we've introduced ourselves and we've shared our goals, and now it's time to take a look back at the season that's coming to an end. September 1st usually signals the beginning of fall for me (even though there are 20 days until the official start!) and I celebrated by listening to Frank Sinatra on Pandora and burning a Buttered Rum candle. However, let's bid summer a proper farewell, shall we?

Saturday, September 3: Now that summer's at an end,
share a list of favorites from the season!

Somehow, this was the summer I discovered a love of peach cobbler. Not sure where or when, but now I crave it ALL the time. Keeping with the peach theme, I picked up a peace Capri Blue candle at Anthropologie, and now my apartment smells like heaven! It's the same company that makes their classic volcano candles. I have to include this pretty teal Anthropologie I visited in New Jersey because #ihavethisthingforanthro. It's the best kind of problem to have.

I've finally settled on a make up routine, and I don't plan to break from it anytime soon. I have to include "That Gal" primer by Benefit Cosmetics in my summer faves because I use it every day (and I ran out yesterday)! It moisturizes and brightens and comes in a pretty little package. One of my other favorite things about summer is picnicking in the park while watching Shakespeare. I had a couple chances to do that this summer, and I'm already scheming of how to make it happen again next year. Also, have you seen the new Illustrated Faith releases?! The Bright & Bold collection is gorgeous and just came out in August!

The summer slow down, especially after finishing grad school, meant relaxing and returning to old favorites. Chris Pine and Anne Hathaway in The Princess Diaries 2 are a go-to when I want to relax in with a sweet treat and a glass of wine on a Friday night (or any night) in the summer.  I didn't do as much reading as I wanted to this summer, but All The Light We Cannot See has been among the best I've read all year. And finally, summer means travel, and this Sole Society bag is on my wish list. I got to jet set to New York for nine days and I so wish I had packed this little guy!

Now it's your turn! What are your favorites?!
