E L E V E N | The Inspired Life

Congrats, friends! You've made it halfway through week two of The Blog-tember Challenge. We've gained a few new gals in the past couple of days, so I wanted to say welcome aboard! I hope y'all are enjoying this challenge as much as I am. I pop in and out during the day to read your posts and they get me so fired up about the prompts to come! Today's is a particular favorite of mine. I can't wait!

Today's prompt: How do you stay inspired? Who inspires you most?

one. two. three. four. five. six. seven. eight. nine.

Oh, I just love a good collage. It falls first in line when it comes to staying inspired around here. Each month I put together a collection of pretties to kick-start my creativity: meaningful quotes, beautiful images, ideals and inspirations for my work or home. Sometimes I share them here on the blog, and other times they end up on my fridge or with my Power Sheets to remind me what I'm working toward each day.

Sites such as Pinterest and Tumblr fuel me during the day when I want a five minute break, as well as apps such as Instagram and Studio. I follow hundreds of creatives, businesswomen, friends, and companies that are doing beautiful, meaningful work. I love having it at the tip of my fingers!

Here are a few of my favorite feeds these days:

@theeverygirl_; The Everygirl Blog found its way into my life this year and I haven't looked back! From interviews and home tours of real life magic makers (including a glimpse into sweet Victoria's Texas abode here) to how to's and fashion guides, The Everygirl is a resource every girl should know.

@laraacasey; Say hello to one of my biggest role models! Lara Casey is the editor of Southern Weddings Magazine as well as the heart and soul behind the Making Things Happen movement and the Power Sheets I so love. Lara loves Jesus, encourages women, and dotes on her daughter with such intention and transparency! She's got a book coming out in December you don't want to miss.

@annvoskamp; The author of One Thousand Gifts, this lady has a way with words like no other. Her heart is revealed each day through her blog, and she is such an inspiration to me! Can I be her when I grow up?

@abeautifulmessofficial; If you haven't read A Beautiful Mess blog, don't walk but run there right now. Elsie, Emma, and their team tackle DIY's, recipes, and creative challenges with sass and style. How they come up with all of these ideas blows me away! Their new book A Happy Handmade Home is on my wish list, and their two apps (PartyParty and A Beautiful Mess) are so nifty!

Your turn, friends! Who inspires you most? How do you stay inspired during the week?
