A Little Tuesday Inspiration || Scripture & Sequins

There is something about Pinterest and perusing pretty pictures that delights me and motivates me. But it also has the power to be a deadly distraction and cause of comparison. With a week full of deadlines and directing prep, I need the motivation but not the distraction. I want to make what matters happen and find a refreshing way to do that, so I put together a little inspiration board that will help me get the job done! I am so fired up by sequins, stripes, sunny peonies, and spending time in scripture. I hope to find more of these in my life in 2014 than 2013, and here's to starting today!
"My soul shall be satisfied as with marrow and fatness,
and my mouth shall praise you with joyful lips."
Psalm 63:5

"For God has not given us a spirit of fear,
but of power and love and of a sound mind."
2 Timothy 1:7

*A little encouragement from my dear friend Katie.
Girl, this has been spot on and so great!

    1. Aren't they gorgeous? Peonies have a very specific season up here, and I cannot wait for them to return. I made the collage in Photoshop, adding my favorite Pinterest finds. I just love looking at it :)

  4. This is beautiful! There's something so fun and playful about sequins! P.S. what program do you use for creating these beautiful inspiration boards? I am hoping to learn to use my Mac better this year and I want to learn to make pretty graphics and collages... and well, you are an inspiration because yours are so lovely

    1. I use photoshop, an old version I got a few years ago. It's pretty easy to navigate, and if you're looking for a starter program I highly suggest Photoshop Elements!
