A Few of My {Current} Favorite Things

I love playing the favorites game. It's a great way to get to know new friends a little bit better, or to remind you about what makes old friends tick.  However, when it comes to playing the game I always struggle to remember my Top 5 of... well.. EVERYTHING. And I change them all the time, except for my top 2 which generally stay the same. So for my sanity, and for your entertainment, here are a few of my favorite things.

PS. I totally missed the live streaming of Sound of Music last night with Carrie Underwood. Was it any good?

PSS. I'm totally not kidding when I say that as I was writing this "My Favorite Things" started playing in Barnes & Noble. IT KNOWS!

  1. I feel like people were really hard on The Sound Of Music and Carrie Underwood. It is a LIVE performance so it's not going to be anything like a movie. Yes, she isn't Julie Andrews, but she did a good job! I wish that people would have given it more credit, but that's our negative nancy world for ya. ;) Haha!

    1. I've heard so many mixed reviews, but it is definitely a frightening feat doing it live! I'm not a singer at all so I can't critique what I can't do. Hopefully someone I know recorded it so I can get a chance to watch it myself!

    1. I wonder why we love it ;) It's so good! I love getting a glimpse into her perspective of theatre and faith which is rarely addressed, especially in literature.
